“Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. Emergency Response Weekend” (Senate Resolution 611)

Il20150912_134055_resizedlinois Emergency Response Team Gets Delta Dears Ready, is an initiative to prepare members of the20150912_134219_resized sorority for Disasters/emergencies. Through the leadership of the Illinois ERT Coordinator Tchicaya Ellis Robertson, partnership with AARP Laurinda Paschal Dodgen and support from Senator Lightford, Senate Resolution 611, plus the hard work of a number of other dedicated members of Delta volunteering their time & talents this initiative is in full effect. September 11, 2015–September 13, 2015 is officially in ILLINOIS, “Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. Emergency Response Weekend.”
Members of our illustrious organization across ILLINOIS will prepare our sweet Delta Dears for a disaster of any kind and ensure they have the necessary tools to respond accordingly.
In commemoration of the state of emergency that occurred on 9/11, in light of September being preparedness month and 9/13 being Grandparent’s Day we want to ensure our most precious members our Delta Dears are PREPARED to respond to emergencies when they take place.
