The Educational Development Committee of Joliet Area/South Suburban Alumnae Chapter will have Orientation for our mentoring programs at Rich South High School located at 5000 Sauk Trail in Richton Park, IL on Saturday, September 10, 2016 from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm.   The youth programs are for girls aged 11-13 (Delta Academy), girls aged 14-18 (G.E.M.S.) and boys aged 13-18 (E.M.B.O.D.I.) and focus on the whole child through mentoring, group discussions, individual and/or group projects and community service. The parent program, P.E.A.C.E. (Parents Empowered Active Children Education), is designed for parents to enhance skills and provide guidance to make positive changes, which benefit their families.  Monthly sessions will be held at Robbins Community Center located at 13800 Trumbull Avenue, Robbins, IL.  The sessions are scheduled from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm, unless otherwise noted, on the 3rd Saturday of the month from October 2016 – May 2017.  The dates are as follows:
