Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., the women of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Joliet Area/South Suburban Alumnae Chapter cordially invite you to our 3rd Annual Sisters 4 Sisters Greek Sisterhood luncheon at the Holiday Inn Chicago Matteson! This year’s theme is “The Power of Women: A Call to Social Action.”
Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. has always been at the forefront when it comes to being politically involved, and taking stands against social injustices. We’re excited to have Illinois Congresswoman Robin Kelly from the 2nd Congressional District be our keynote speaker! Since her election in 2013, Congresswoman Robin Kelly has worked to expand economic opportunity and promote public safety, sponsoring numerous bills to generate job growth and end gun violence. She is a member of a number of House Caucuses, including the Congressional Black Caucus, the Women’s Caucus, and serves as Co-Chair of the Caucus on Black Women and Girls. Congresswoman Robin Kelly is also an active member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.
This will be an afternoon of fun, fashion, and fellowship for Greek Sisters in the Divine 9 organizations. The ticket price is $50.00. Join us for a celebration of Greek sisterhood and the bond we all share as women, and bring toiletries and/or school supplies for a special community project. Hope to see you there!!
